Mr. Fixit

Nearly every day I have something that has been broken placed on my desk or computer with the assumption that I will be able to magically repair it. Usually with a combination of duct tape, super glue, a screw driver and fresh batteries, I can do pretty good, but sometimes you just have to put things to rest (the trash).

In this case, baby's head had fallen off (been ripped off?). The children were so fascinated as I sewed a cable tie onto its body and reattached its head. I know, it wasn't quite brain surgery.

And here is the doll's head to be re-attached. Looks remarkably like Erilynn.

Trip to Texas (part 3)

Here we are all posing in the Berry's yard in our Sunday best.

Hannah and Alena looking beautiful.

William and Christian holding hands on the swing. No Christian isn't smaller, the swing John and I set up was slightly defective (leaning).

Here we see queen Hollye being attended to by one of her loyal servants.

Trip to Texas (part 2)

We took the children skating when we were down visiting the Texans. We've been promising to take them skating for a long time as a reward for memorizing their multiplication tables.
