We made this video about Hannah a few months ago, and we apologize for not posting it until now.
It is all about the fun things that Hannah can do.  Enjoy!

Also, be sure to watch for a video all about William and Christian which we plan on making in a couple months!!!

Grandpa's Fourth of July Visit

Papaw and Grandma Faye came down for the Fourth of July.  Grandpa brought his boat, but we had a minor flash flood, so we had to wait until later in the week to go boating.
Hannah and Alena decorated the house the night before the fourth, after the smaller children were asleep.

Here is Alena preparing the huge red, white, and blue paper chain that we hung in the living room.

Hannah is preparing candy cups for everyone.  Yum!

This is our patriotic dining room!

William, dressed in his red, white, and blue, with Eloisa, our adorable Bolognese puppy.

These are Grandpa's dogs.  The big huge lab in the background is Cally, and little Cinderella ("Cindy"), is in front.

'The Borrowers' & Other Stuff

This post is mainly just about some miscellaneous things that have been going on lately.

Of course, it's always fun to wear a matching hair flower with a puppy.

This is Alena with our sewing machine.  She has sewn several really cute dog dresses to sell on our Beautiful Bolognese website, ( you can see the complete collection of dresses here ).

These are some of the dresses in the stage of being decorated.

This grew in our garden.  Guess what it is.  Guess.  Nope, they're not young trees (they're about the size of it, though).  Is this not the biggest asparagus you've ever seen?  Nope, I'm not joking.  They're GIANT!!!

We've had lot's of puppies this year, and we are now on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus.
You can check us out on Pinterest here:

The highlight of our year (so far), is that we all auditioned for a play at our local Arts Center.  We got a call back a few days later from the director saying that we would all receive a part.  We were so excited!  The play was 'The Borrowers'.  It was about little tiny people that live under the floor boards and borrow from humans.  Hannah played a human girl "Kate", at the beginning and end of the play.  Alena and Erilynn were Gypsy Sisters in a scene in the middle of the play ( you can see a picture of them on the Arts Center website with their "Gypsy Brothers" here), and Erilynn also played two non-speaking parts (a wasp and a moth).  William and Christian had a non-speaking part in the middle of the play as crickets.  They ran around and blew whistles, and scared the mother Borrower (the perfect part for them, right?).  We had about 12 performances.

From left to right: Alena, Christian, an actress friend, Hannah

Erilynn loved making funny faces backstage!

The whole cast!  Click on picture to enlarge.

After the plays were over we had a cast party.

As you can see, all of the younger children demanded piggy-back rides.

And this is a random picture of Erilynn, standing on a doorknob, painting the wall.
We hope you enjoyed all the pictures!

January Gymnastics Competition

We held a gymnastics competition in which Daddy and Mama were the judges and us children were the contestants.  We had three classes: vault, beam, and floor.
Our vault was made of a trampoline, a small table and the gymnastics mat that are grandparents gave us several years ago.

Erilynn did a very nice vault which got extremely high scores from the judges.
Alena did a handstand off the vault.
And this is Hannah.  If you click on the picture too make it larger you'll notice that in the background, Erilynn had her hands over her face.  Everyone was slightly worried about Hannah's vault, because; well, she usually has a crash landing.  This vault, however was fairly nice.
Erilynn did a beautiful beam routine which earned high scores from the judges (again).
Hannah also did a nice beam routine.
Christian did a very cute floor routine :)
 William begins his floor routine.
Erilynn did a good floor routine which earned high scores from the judges, (Yes, everything Erilynn did received high scores)

And the winner of the gymnastics competition was:
Erilynn in 1st place! (of course:)

We love gymnastics!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

We had a wonderful Christmas and a fun New Years celebration with friends from church!
Here are some pictures and quotes to prove it!!!
Christian: "My favorite part of New Year's was staying up 'till Midnight!"
William: "I liked celebrating Jesus' birth!  We made a birthday cake for Him!"
Erilynn: "I liked visiting with Papaw and Grandma Faye!"
Alena: "I liked having my friend, Chenie over for New Years!"
Hannah :"I enjoyed eating all the good food and desserts!"
Hannah also directed a Christmas Play at our church for Kindergarten - 5th grade.  In the play, Erilynn was Lily, a girl who learns what Christmas is really about, William played Joseph, and Christian was a Toy Soldier!  It went very well!  (Hint: click on picture to enlarge)
We hope everyone else had a great Christmas, too!!!
