I bought Hollye the Sound of Music DVD a while back (it is her favorite movie) and the children have really been enjoying it. There is a scene in it where the Van Trapp children and Maria ride bikes and sing the song "Do-Re-Mi" (Doe a deer, a female deer...). So the children went outside, tied their bikes together and rode around the neighbor hood singing that song. It was quite a site.
The boys like to climb up in bed with us when they wake up in the morning. We never let the other children do this, but we're getting old and soft, I guess.
Alena donated her hair recently to Locks of Love. We are proud of her and think she looks really cute with short hair.

Wow! Alena looks so cute with short hair! I'll bet she was nervous! How very sweet and generous of her! I'd love to see some more pictures of her new haircut!!!
